
EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2018 – Active members of The Fraternal Order of Police, who own vehicles that are registered in the State of Tennessee, are eligible to obtain the Tennessee “FOP Member” license plate for their personally registered vehicles. Before renewing your Tennessee “FOP Member” license plate, you must first obtain your UPDATED FOP MEMBERSHIP CARD, or you will not be allowed to renew your registration. You NO LONGER have to contact the TN State Lodge for a registration form prior to renewal. AS of July 1, 2018, you just need to show your current and up to date FOP Membership Card. This new requirement ensures that only ACTIVE MEMBERS of the TN FOP are allowed to own and display the Tennessee “FOP Member” license plate. Active Associate Members of The Fraternal Order of Police, who own vehicles that are registered in the State of Tennessee, are now eligible to obtain the NEW Tennessee “FOP Associate Member” license plate for their personally registered vehicles! Before obtaining or renewing your Tennessee “FOP Associate Member” license plate, you must first obtain the proper form from the State Lodge each and every year, or you will not be allowed to renew your registration. This requirement ensures that only active Associate Members of the TN FOP are allowed to own and display the Tennessee “FOP Associate Member” license plate.
